| "One
of the most commonly asked questions from my friends has been: 'What
will you do with your camera and computer when you go to the beach...
or the pub... or the mountains?' My answer? 'Take it with me!' What
alternative is there? If I lose my computer, that would signal the end
of my website, and what is my project without the website? So in fact
it would signal the end of my trip. I can't very well leave the computer
in my hotel room, or even at my hosts' home. Houses get burgled too,
and it would only be a matter of time until my luck ran out. Then along
came this gizmo, which will virtually make it safer to leave my computer
in my room than to carry it on my person. Okay, I'll put you out of
your misery... it is a pac-safe backpack security system. This consists
of a stainless steel mesh net which wraps around your backpack, and
if necessary can be used to secure the backpack to a sturdy item, preventing
not only the theft of the pack as a whole, but any access to the valuables
inside. Now I won't look like a dork, standing in a nightclub carrying
a computer. Now I will simply look like a dork because I dress funny
and can't dance!"

I would love a couple
of stickers for my truck. If you make them. If you do, you could send
them to my house. I would also love a catalog to take to my local outfitters
to order some other products. I have a backpacker med. and love it.
Nothing bothers me more than having my precious gear stolen. Thanks
a lot.

I
bought my pacsafe 3 years ago for a 3 week South American trip, it was
much admired by fellow travelers and provided peace of mind for safety.
Later, I used it on a trip to New York, it was great to lock my valuables
inside and attach it to my YHA locker confident in its security.
This year I traveled for 9 months and used my pacsafe daily, again reassuring
my rucksacks safety and allowing me to lock my bag to benches etc whilst
I looked for accommodation. Money well spent indeed.

Aloha
from a very satisfied customer! I have the backpack series 1305.I use
it for travel and have gotten very interested comments by others whom
I've gave your web site out to check out. I also used this pacsafe in
my day to day wanderings from work, to the beach, to the gym, shooting
range, model shoots, to the malls, etc. I use it to put my backpack that
has all of my work related items ,also my camera which I have with me
for that spectacular sunset that might catch my eye. I have a 2dr car
with no trunk so together with my car alarm I feel a little more secure
when parking in those areas.

The 1st trip I used the Pacsafe I had a bit of a dilemma in Airlie Beach
in Queensland, when I'd left my rucksack secured by the Pacsafe, to
a bunk bed in a storage room. I was on a 4 day live aboard dive boat
and on my return I found that someone else with a Pacsafe had unintentionally
padlocked their Pacsafe to mine through the mesh! I had an hour before
the Greyhound bus left! I asked the manager of the hostel if he knew
who the other Pacsafe belonged to, it turned out it was an American
girl who was out on a live aboard too!! I was just contemplating getting
a hacksaw to cut through the padlock and release my rucksack when she
shows up, what a relief! I traveled up to Cairns the next day and on
heading out of the hostel for a beer that night guess who's checking
in? That's right, the American girl!!
Kind regards

I'm
just back from a six month journey around the Mediterranean and I have
to tell you that my Pacsafe gave me a lot of peace of mind. I used it
to store my laptop and camera gear when I left them in the hotel rooms
- I generally locked it on to a bed head or a water pipe. Great concept.
I've given you a mention at http://travelsnapz.tripod.com/digitaltravel.html

A very good idea
as it not only gives you security of your luggage it helps with your
state of mind. I travel India, Asia and Europe doing research many times
per year and have found it to wonderful.

PACSAFE
WORKS!!
This is an email
from my daughter Amanda who is currently in Malaysia on a university
study program. Before she departed, I bought her a Pacsafe and told
her to use it. Please read her latest email to me providing that Pacsafe
is indispensable for safekeeping valuables, at home or on the road.
Hi Dad,
Thank you for the
kind emails. I know that home
will be there when I get back. I
guess I am kind of bored of being
in the jungle, we have been here
for almost two weeks. But I have
taken some great photos; I can
wait to show you them.
You
will be happy to know that the
Pacsafe you gave me came in handy
yesterday! I told all the
girls in my cabin that if they
had valuables, to put them in
my bag, and I lock it up. So all
of their passports and plane tickets
and traveler cheque and money
was in it, thank goodness, because
our cabin was broken into yesterday,
but my bag was saved.
Unfortunately some
money was stolen that was in other place. My friend Charlotto had her
whole wallet stolen, with all of her id and cards, and also 300 US dollars.
Another girl lost 200 ringgets, which is 325 American dollars. We
went to the police station, but we’re not sure what is going to be done.
But they all thanked
me for having the Pacsafe, so
I guess I should thank you!
Anyway, I still have to write
mom, I sent her a Mother Day card
in Chinese. She really liked
it! Have a great time in
South Beach and wherever else
you are! And write soon!
Love
Amanda
Dear
Pacsafe,
The VRAA expedition
society is launching an expedition outfitting service. This is a logical
expansion of our core business of running self drive adventures around
the globe. We are not selling typical travel store junk, only quality
products we have used and been happy with. Products like Touratech cycling
gear. ARB truck parts, Columbia clothing, Lonely Planet guides, Garmin
GPS, Iridium sat phones, Brunton compasses, etc. Pacsafe is a great
fit for the type of products we want. It is also something I can fully
endorse.
Nouhadihbou,
Mauritania, is a poor and desperate
city along the route from Morocco
to Senegal. To get there
from the North, you pass through
a minefield, to the South there
is no road, so you drive on the
beach at low tide. It has 2 resources
- salt and gravel, both are dug
by hand. Many of the laborers
are slaves. It a destination for
Europeans looking to sell a stolen
car. For everyone else it a depressing
gas stop and a place to get paperwork
stamped. We had to stay overnight
so we got the very best hotel
in town. There were hookers sleeping
on the lobby floor, cattle in
the courtyard where we parked,
and people looking to hustle us
everywhere. We knew they
would try to steal our Land Rover,
so we took turns standing guard
around the clock with machetes
and axe handles. About 4:30 am
our guards did chase off half
a dozen would be thieves.
The
whole time I knew that even if
I was walking home, I would have
my cameras, laptop and sat phone.
They were in Pacsafe net, attached
to a shower stall. That’s
jusne of the time I remember thinking
his is the best $70 I ever spent.?ould
you please send us a dealership
application?
Thanks

I’m a photojournalist
and carry about $30,000 worth
of Nikon camera equipment when
travel. I have used the Pacsafe
for about two years and have traveled
all over South & Central America,
Asia, Africa and the Middle East
and have never had a problem with
theft. I'am very careful and stay
in cheap guesthouses to conserve
costs because of extended stay’s
photographing a country. The
Pacsafe is the best insurance
I have next to my professional
equipment coverage.
Further, those who
have talked so negatively about this product have never tried it.
Oh, one other word,
the journo like me covering the
worlds hot spots are most of the
time using the Pacsafe to help
secure there bags full of camera
and video gear in there rooms,
etc.
In conclusion, I
only rave about a few products. Examples: Nikon Camera gears,
Swiss Army knifes, Lowpro backpacks and the Tiley hat. I can say
the Pacsafe mesh is also a must have for this photographer’s list of
gear to take during my 4-6 months traveling the world each year.

PACSAFE
IS REALLY GREAT
I’ve
used one on my pack from Brittany
to Borneo. You check into a unky?hotel,
locked your stuff up, go for a
walk, and your stuff is there
when you return. You leave
your pack in the obby?after you
check out, lock it to a chair,
and come back a few hours later,
and it's there.
And,
when it is there you also know
it not been tampered with. That
is, without a Pacsafe, when you
come back and your pack is there,
you really don know if it has
been tampered with until you look
for hatever?and discover it's
missing. There is a great peace
of mind to knowing that what you
think is in your pack is really
there.
Yes,
it heavy. I pack light with
a vengeance, only go carry-on
-one pack total- (but these days,
because of the nife?issue, I don't
know), and struggled with deciding
if the 1.1 pounds were worth it.
After one trip I was convinced:
no worries, no debts. It's great.
And,
I thinking that if I ever check
luggage, I check it with my Pacsafe
on it.

Hi,
I
used your product on my backpack
all though Europe/Asia/South East
Asia and although we never saw
anyone trying to get in to our
bags, we feel that it was the
Pacsafe that we used all the time
that pull off any would be thieves. Thank
you for that it made our trip
for less stress full. For
that reason I am contacting you
regarding a marketing opportunity
that you have over looked. I don
think you would need a new product,
just find the right size/shape.
Before I sound any more like I
trying to sell you something.
Here it is, motorcycle travelers
have two choices in luggage, hard
plastic panniers or soft ones.
The hard one is very expensive
and if you happen to fall even
stopped they break. Therefore
many riders choose soft one; they
are much less expensive and don
break if you fall (kinda)
Either
way they are very popular, however
this type of bag had no security
at all. And I have known
people that have had gear taken,
and the whole bag taken.
I had the idea to try my Pacsafe
on the bags. Although my Pacsafes
(my wife and I each have one)
are too big and did not quite
work they worked well enough until
we can spend the 200 bucks (I
am a University student therefore
don't have much extra one) to
get ones to fit. However I have
told many people, including writing
in to a motor cycle magazine about
this. A couple of mates of mine
have gotten the correct size and
loved it. They now feel that they
have gotten the best of both world
soft panniers and security!!!
It comes down to
this, advertise to motorcycle travelers as well. Well, let me know what
you think.

I
have a Pacsafe to travel Asia with and I have found it to be wonderful.
A very good idea as it not only provides security for your luggage,
it also provides peace of mind. I travel throughout Asia and Europe
several times each year on research and have found the Pacsafe to be
very beneficial.

I
ordered the Travel Safe 200 to take to Mardi Gras in New Orleans. It
was marvelous! Several people in our American Express group trip wanted
to know how to order one
.Hope you get a lot of businessit
is a terrific product!

First
just wanted to say that the Pacsafe is amazing. My friend and I bought
it a couple of years ago just after it came on the market--It has gotten
my friend and I safely around Asia, Haiti, and South America since then
.indestructible!

My
friend and I have returned not long ago from travels to Europe and Asia.
We are writing to let you know how much we used and appreciated your
excellent innovation in design of the Pacsafe. We traveled in a large
number of capital cities around the world and were comforted by the
knowledge that our belongings were protected, especially on public transport,
on planes and particularly when we were moving between accommodation.
We would recommend your product to anybody traveling abroad.

I
have just returned from a 12 month round the world trip with a Pacsafe
on my backpack at all times. On three occasions I was with people who
had their pack broken into or stolen. It was only due to the fact that
I had the Pacsafe that I didnt lose my gear.
Im traveling
with a Pacsafe and they are a good form of insurance. They are great
for peace of mind when walking through a crowded street or market. They
are best used on night bus rides where you can lock up you pack to prevent
it from "falling off the bus." Also great in hotels that have
dodgy lock up areas. You can lock up your bag to the bed or desk and
will be sure that nobody goes through your bag
.
I regularly use
a Pacsafe and find it very effective against theft, slashing, &
planting things. It also gives my pack some protection against being
mishandled by the airlines. If you want to leave your pack unattended,
the cable is long enough to do so
.Personally, I wouldnt
be without mine.

Just
wanted to give you another customer endorsement. I travel by motorcycle
a lot and have ridden to over 25 countries in Europe alone.
Recently rode to
Russia and purchased a Pacsafe for the trip. I wanted to be able to
secure my sleeping gear, tent, cooking gear, etc to the bike. It worked
fantastically! I could leave the bike for short periods of time and
not worry about all my gear being stolen.
If you check out
the link below, youll see a picture of my BMW, the Pacsafe, and
me at the Russian border. Feel free to use the picture, or link in your
advertising. Thought you might like to consider this additional variation
in your marketing.
Motorcyclists around
the world could really use this. Thanks for helping make an incredible
trip more memorable, for all the right reasons!

That's right. After
one year of traveling around the world my girlfriend, were back
home safely with all our belongings. We've traveled across America (Amtrak),
Fiji (dodgy boat rides), New Zealand (camper van), Australia (bus),
Singapore, Malaysia, Sumatra, Thailand (whatever means available) and
finally India (sleepless transport)!
Our Pacsafes (one
each) have traveled with us all the way and given us peace of mind wherever
we went. It's been most useful in shared dorms where sadly you can't
trust you fellow travelers; in unsecured hotel/beach hut rooms; chained
to the engine in our camper van; on all forms of public/private transport
and even on our backs when we walked! Although, by the time we got to
India we had sent all our kit of value home. Our Pacsafes were still
used and came in handy on the notorious trains where our other bags
were rifled through!
